Music Teacher

Margaret Germain is a Sarasota area professional musician and music teacher.  She has a Bachelor of Music  from Northwestern University and is the Director of Music at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church on Siesta Key.  In addition to playing the organ and directing the choirs, Margaret is also a harpist.
Margaret plays for weddings both on the harp and the organ. 

Margaret performs concerts on the harp and piano, including playing some of her original piano music.  She also enjoys doing elder music programs at retirement communities and assisted living centers in the Sarasota and Venice area.

Margaret enjoys singing and is a trained singer, having sung with both Gloria Musicae, Sarasota's professional vocal ensemble, and Key Chorale.

Margaret is a Sarasota and Siesta Key piano and harp teacher, with a studio located at St. Michael's church on Siesta Key.

Margaret lives in the Sarasota area with her husband, portrait artist, Chuck Barber, and their teenage son, Ben Barber.
